F.I.S.H. Camp Serves San Antonio

Each July a group of teens from Dallas lives on our campus for one week while they perform outreach ministry around San Antonio. They group is called F.I.S.H. (Forever I Serve Him). This year F.I.S.H. prepared for the trip by studying Catholic social teaching before arriving on our campus the week of July 17. The teens sacrificed a week of their summer to get up bright and early each day to help people improve their lives by assisting in a variety of service activities including home repairs, landscaping, and service at food pantries. Each evening the teens spent time in prayer and worship and vocation discernment. The hard work during the week not only improved the lives of San Antonio residents in need, but it was a life changing experience for the teens as well. We were honored to host F.I.S.H. for an unforgettable week that challenged, inspired, and awakened a desire in the teens to continue to serve God by serving others.
