Through Children’s Liturgy of the Word, we seek to involve children in the liturgy--the joy of song, the holiness of Scripture, and the richness of ritual.  As friends, neighbors and family within the parish, the children bring to us the simplicity of God's Word and the depth of His love. We seek to show each child that they are important participants in the liturgy, thereby enriching the entire parish family.

Children’s Liturgy of the Word takes place during the 9am and 11am Sunday Masses.  Children gather with the entire assembly and are then led to the day chapel to break open the Word.  Children return to the assembly after the homily to continue to celebrate the Mass with the rest of the community. 

Parents are encouraged to periodically accompany their child to Liturgy of the Word and assist with the care of all children.
