Lenten Reconciliation Times
During Lent we are called to return to God with our whole heart (Joel 2:12-13). One way we can do that is by meeting Jesus in the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Confession can feel scary or nerve-wracking, but Jesus’ common refrain throughout the Gospels, “Do not be afraid,” should give us comfort and peace. He is always ready to embrace us compassionately. As in the parable of the lost son, when we walk to him, he runs to us (Luke 15:20).
We offer Reconciliation at St. Francis of Assisi every Saturday (except Holy Saturday, April 8) from 3:30 pm to 5 pm. We are also offering additional opportunities to go to the sacrament from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm and 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm on Tuesday, March 14 and Thursday, March 16 and from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm on Wednesday, March 15.
