Welcome to St. Francis of Assisi on-line,
the internet extension of our faith community.
This website is intended to keep you abreast
of the parish's many activities.

St. Francis of Assisi Parish was founded in 1980 with 350 families.
Today we have over 2400 families in our parish and we continue
to grow in spirit and in size.  We have recently dedicated
our new sanctuary with a seating capacity of 1100,
the conversion of the former church into a parish hall,
and the conversion of the former hall into additional
classrooms and meeting rooms.

Like the Parish, this website will continue to grow.
We hope that it will serve as a vital communications tool
for St. Francis of Assisi as we travel
our journey of faith together.
Enjoy!

Attention all young adults and not so young adults: The teens of St. Francis of Assisi are looking for a few (20 or so) good men and women to become Life Teen Core members. The work is fun, challenging and rewarding. The pay is great and the benefits are awesome...you get to hang with us. If you think you have the right stuff or if you think you don’t, but want to come work with us anyway, call Monica at 492-4600 or write her at mharness@sfasat.org.

Children between the ages of three to eight years of age are invited to attend Children's Liturgy of the Word during 11:00 mass. We are assembled together as one family for the opening hymn and opening prayer. Our pastor Fr. Jim will dismiss the children from the large assembly before the First Reading. The children gather in day chapel to hear the Good News together.
The childrens liturgist will share the inspired Word of God with the children in a more age appropriate manner for them. The children will experience the Gospels through gestures, storytelling, songs, and puppet dramas. The children return to the large assembly before the Liturgy of the Eucharist begins. For more information about this wonderful ministry, please call Veronica Benson 210-492-4600 ext 103.

Those who wish to view our bulletin may visit our News and Events page. The Homilies may be heard by visiting our Homilies page.

The new schedules are now available in the Church gathering space and online at the St. Francis website.
