Troop 498 Monthly Update!

Troop 498 closed 2024 strong and put 2025 on track to be a great year. In December, the scouts camped at Enchanted Rock State Park where they hiked, cooked backpacking meals, and did some rock climbing. Next, they spent a weekend at Incarnate Word University working on dozens of Merit Badges, where they learned about Aviation, Veterinary Medicine, Robotics, and more. In January they did some primitive camping in freezing weather, where they learned about wilderness survival, built their own survival shelters, and stayed in them overnight in the rain. Troop 498 also celebrated its newest Eagle Scout. Troop 498 and Pack 2003 will be selling tickets to the Fiesta Battle of Flowers and Flambeau Parades soon.
