OCIA | Christian Order of Initiation for Adults

Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA) is a process of spiritual conversion and growth, over time, in one’s relationship with God and the Catholic Church, a faith journey where adults and children are fully welcomed into the Catholic Church.

If you’re interested in exploring a relationship with Jesus Christ; inquiring about the Catholic Church; becoming Catholic; coming home to the life of the Church; or being fully initiated into the Catholic Church through the celebration of the Sacraments of Confirmation and Eucharist, we welcome you!

The OCIA group meets on Sunday mornings. We attend the 8:30 am Mass and then have a formal period of study, reflection, and prayer from 9:30 until 11:00 am in the JP II Room in the San Damiano Building.  Enrollment is open year-round. Readiness for reception of sacraments is discerned with the individual and RCIA team. Please contact Larry Perry for more information.
