Edge is the faith formation component of our middle school youth ministry. It is created specifically for 6th–8th grade students and leads them closer to Christ and His Church. An Edge Night consists of prayer, games, skits, large group catechesis, and small group discussions. It provides a safe, fun place for youth to find a solid Catholic community, to get answers to their questions about faith, and to experience Jesus in a personal way. High school juniors and seniors, as well as adults, serve as Core Members. Edge gathers on Tuesday at 7:00 pm in the St. JP II Room. Middle School Faith Formation Classes are set in a traditional classroom environment as an alternative to Edge. Classes focus on learning more about scripture through video and/or lectionary-based Bible studies. Classes are for youth in 6th–8th grade and meet from 10:00–11:00 on Sunday morning or at 3:45–4:45 on Sunday afternoon.
